The first time I came in contact with photography was in highschool. At that point I didn't realise that this will be a lifelong passion, and fortunately enough, a career. It soon became just a hobby that I practised from time to time. I played with the idea of street, landscape and product photography, but nothing stuck with me like the portrait genre.

Fast forward to the University years, I wanted to learn History and Archeology, hoping to become a history teacher soon after I finished. But life had other plans for me. I took a job in a technical field and soon I found out that I was only working to live. I strongly belive that humans are made to do more then that.

I turned my eyes to a highschool sweetheart, photography. Took a few courses and enrolled in youtube academy. Soon I felt the need to quit my IT job and start my own business. After poking my head at a few generes of photograpy, it became crystal clear that I loved photographing people, so portrait it was!

Fast forward to present days, I am happy to tell you that I am a full time portrait photographer based in Bucharest, Romania. I own a small studio where I do all my portraits, and where I would love to meet and photograph you.

I like to think that my work is influenced by photographers like Platon, Peter Lindberg, Martin Schoeller, Peter Coulson, Felix Kunze, Annie Leibovitz, Peter Hurley, and other master photographers.

I want to leave you with this quote that I heard in a documentary movie about Platon, a quote that I strongly agree with:

"Taking a picture is very technical, but 99.9 percent is connection! ... Having your portrait taken is a collaboration, or a dance, or a battle, depending on how I am feeling that day, and how my sitter's feeling. Click!"

See you at the studio!
